Well...I made it back to Tulsa.  I miss class already!  The drive was long-we drove straight through!!  21 hours! Shuffle the deck, removing all 2's and 3's.  Designate a different exercise for each suit.  (Ex.  Hearts: squat thrust, Spades: push-ups, Diamonds: Back flys, Clubs: Frog Jumps)  Jack=11 Queen=12 King=13 Ace=FREE.&lt;div&gt;Leave two Jokers in the deck.  When you draw the first Joker, begin doubling the face value of each card.  When you draw the second Joker, go back to face value.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;So...if you draw a 6 of hearts, do 6 squat thrusts-unless it follows the first joker, you would do 12 reps in this case. Evening class on Tuesday will be held outside, at the studio.  We will not meet at the church.  Morning classes will be inside.-too cold!!   Our workout will be "ISOMETRIC":  We will be holding various exercises for 1 minute, followed by bursts of repetitions immediately following.  This will be done as a group. Let's ramp it up and get serious about food.  You can do it! Make sure to have a PLAN.  When you make the choice to get in shape, you plan for exercise, so make sure you do the same for your diet.  It's even more important.  Making game-time decisions on meals does not work.  Take a list to the store.  Plan your next meal as soon as you finish eating, while you are still satisfied! Think of your food as fuel.  It is not a treat.  Eating is not something we do to pass time.  Eat only when you are getting hungry, and stop before you are full.  I recently read an article about how being thin is actually more green(check it out on cnn.com).  Lets not be wasteful, eat what you take, and eat only what your body needs!  If you haven't checked out the glycemic index, try to take a look this week.&lt;br /&gt;Tomorrow we will break up into teams for a game of cards!  The first team to go through the deck 5 times wins.  Each suit will belong to an exercise, and jokers double your reps!
